Zoro looked at her as she wore the locket, her voice was serene and he felt good that she enjoyed it. Looking off to the side he tried not to look like a complete sap for remembering, “I just happened to remember, I could’ve forgot.” He decided that it would be a good time to sneak over to bed and probably knock out, but her arms circled around him as he wondered what on earth she could be talking about, “You got me something?”
Zoro’s eyes widened, was she talking about a new hilt? He did need one, and thought itd be funny if she got one that matched with his outfit. Instead it was a silver watch, and he almost twitched as he saw it. It wasn’t like he hated the gift, he just didn’t need shiny, expensive things.. but seeing that Nami the greedy, frugal witch bought something expensive was already big enough.
His hands roamed through the silver exterior before trying it on and letting out a small huff. “It’s nice.. I don’t really wear watches.” Zoro let out a small smirk, “It isn’t like you to spend money on me.. especially if its expensive..” Zoro closed on eye as she kissed his cheek and he pulled her closer to him, “You must really love me.” A teasing voice set out as he was picking at her for buying such a thing.
“C-Cake..” It was too late to say no, she already had everything prepared and in a flash he saw an apron be set upon him. “Does it, I rather just have you instead of this..” Zoro tugged on the fabric as he hinted on something sexual to her. The man watched as she cooked and then placed a bowl in his hands, he sighed as he continued to stir. Cooking was tiring and he was already exhausted, but he felt a tap on his shoulder causing him to turn and sputter when flour got in his mouth. “T-Teme..”
Zoro watched as she went back to cooking and so he muttered, “Do I have to stir more..” Facing the bowl towards her, his other hand grabbed a handful of flour and once her face was in his sights he pelted her face with the ammo. She was draped with a sheet of white as he bursted into laughter.
“So-rry.” He chimed in a devious tone.
As he could care less about the shitty cook, whom was probably bawling over the fact that Zoro won Nami instead of him. “Here.” Zoro dabbed his fingers into the batter and placed it in her lips. “Is it good. Should I stir more.” Fingers still in her mouth, he couldn’t resist but to lean forward and kiss her, his tongue tasting the batter in her mouth and then looking back at the bowl. “Mmmm.. maybe we need more sugar.”
“Yeah, if you don’t stir, the batter will have clumps in it…” She turned around, facing Zoro, who was holding out the bowl towards her. “See, you barely did any stirring at all, what is this crap-” She knew she should have been cautious. No wonder he was smirking like that. “H-Hey!” She felt the flour hitting her face as she blew out a deep breath, flour flying everywhere. “Y-You asshole…” Her whole face was white as she looked up to see him laughing. Although she wanted to scold him, it was nice to see him laugh for once; it was rare, which made it treasurable every time he did chuckle once in awhile. And it was nice to know that he was laughing because of her. She laughed along with him while pretending to be pissed.
“Sorry, my ass.” She squinted her eyes at him as she took some flour without him noticing. “Zoro-kun~ Can I give you a kiss?” She inched closer to him as she shyly batted her eyes. When it seemed like the timing was right, she made a “blow-kissing” motion with her hand and allowed all of the flour to hit his face. “Hey, not a bad look on you.” She winked at him as she felt extremely accomplished by what she had done.

She continued gathering some decorations for the cake until she heard his voice. “Hmm?” She looked up and out of nowhere, his finger was on her lips. She opened her mouth and tasted the batter, realizing it was actually alright. “Nawt bawd-” She realized his finger was still there and couldn’t properly speak. His finger was then replaced by his own mouth.
Her whole face went red as she blinked rapidly and stood still. He couldn’t do that! That was so not fair; she wasn’t ready. Who the hell did he think he was to pull off such a cool move like that. She pursed her lips when he pulled away and made sure to catch him off guard as well.
“More sugar…? Let me taste again…” She forcefully pulled herself towards him and brought his hand to her mouth. Sucking on his finger, she pretended not to be phased at all. “Hmm….not so sure, you want to check again?” She let go of his hand and this time leaned in close to him, her lips inches away from his. “Or….yeah, you’re right, I think we need more sugar.” Backing away, she had a sly smile as she watched how dumb he looked just standing there. Thinking that they were going to kiss and not doing so, made him embarrassed, which made Nami enjoy her handy work. “Wipe off the dumb look on your face~”
“Well? Are you going to put sugar in it or not? Maybe I should get Sanji to decide. He should know; he’s the expert. Oh, Sanji-kun~” She pretended to call out for him as she leaned back to Zoro, kissing him on the cheek. “Just kidding, you dumb butt. You’re too cute when you’re embarrassed.” She felt some batter on her face and decided to push Zoro’s buttons even further. “Ne, can you get this off of me? I don’t know where it exactly is.” Her hand was on her cheek, pretending to locate the splat of batter.
It seemed like she was in a good mood today, of course he remembered it was their three month but he didn’t believe it would be important. Zoro didn’t bother saying anything as she mentioned that but let out a small sigh when she scolded him lightly. “I had a rough day at work.” Zoro muttered as he sat down and looked at the curry she had made. He didn’t want to eat, but something told him that she worked hard on this so he decided that he’ll eat it anyway.
“A cake?” He brought the curry to his lips before lazily leaning against his fist. “Can I just go to bed?” Her little game was sort of annoying so he looked at the date and then back at his watch, “Well.. it isn’t your birthday. Unless it changed or something.”
That probably brought something up as he ignored her fussing and pulled out a small red box. He stopped by a small shop to get her a locket with the money he planned to use on his sword. He could fix his sword up some other time, Nami’s reaction was worth this.
Placing it on the table, he slid it towards her as he continued to eat the curry. He didn’t feel like saying anything, he just knew she would understand. “This.. is good.” He said softly before finishing his meal.
He got up and placed the dishes in the sink, before walking towards her and taking the locket out of the box. Placing it around her neck, the marimo tinted pink as he looked to the side, “Tch, I just happened.. to have some extra cash so I thought why not..” He was such a tsundere, but he leaned forward and gave her a gentle kiss. “Happy.. anniver-..s-sary..” God this was so embarrassing for him.
Her patience was wearing off as she tapped her foot on the ground. He couldn’t possibly forget, could he? Even a stupid marimo like him couldn’t be so oblivious to the red circle drawn on the calendar that was hanging in the hallway. “Well, the cake will make the day better.” She could tell he was worn out and knew if she pestered him any further, he wouldn’t be as easy to convince in baking the cake.
“My birthday isn’t for another few months. I’ll give you two more tries~” She promised she wasn’t going to get mad as she looked down at her meal, waiting for his reply as she ate. Anniversaries were silly, but it was nice to know that Zoro was excited about their relationship just as much as she was.

Looking up, she found a red box sitting on the table. “W-What’s this….” So, he did remember. Why’d he have to be so damn mysterious all the time? She couldn’t finish her meal as she continued to stare at the box. Where’d he get the extra money to spend so much? It looked expensive. It was the first gift she had ever received from him. He took their plate, but she barely even noticed because of the excitement she was feeling.
When he came back, her eyes went wide when she felt his presence behind her. “W-What are you…” When he finished putting the locket on her, her hand wrapped around the locket as she looked down and smiled at it. “Thank you…” She smiled from ear to ear as she watched him leave and towards the kitchen. He was acting all embarrassed and it was too adorable. “Hey, I didn’t forget about you either…” Just to make him blush even more she hugged him from behind until he turned around to face her. She took out her present from her pocket and opened it, presenting a nice silver watch. “Happy anniversary to you too~ I’m sure it’ll match better with your outfit than your old one. Didn’t you say you needed a new one?”
She kissed him softly on the cheek as she placed both of her hands on his broad shoulder. “So, about that cake, hm?”
She gathered flour, eggs, milk, and lastly, Zoro, as she placed a nice orange apron on him and a green one on herself. “Have I ever told you that orange suits you?” He still had a grumpy look on his face, but she would have to change that. Brighten the mood~ When he wasn’t looking, she took some flour and tapped his shoulder, sticking out her finger and waiting for him to turn his head, so that she could smear the flour on his cheek.
“Seem to always fall for it, hmm? Now that’s what makes a true idiot. Never learning from his mistakes~” She giggled as the marimo continued to stir their batter, mumbling some words along the lines of ‘witch’ and what not. She didn’t mind one bit since she was able to get him to bake with her. “Don’t be so rough. You’ve gotta make it smooth.” She placed her hand over his as they made circle motions together.
“This isn’t too bad, right? You can brag to Sanji that you can make a better cake than he can~”
Ah it was raining, Zoro opened the door to the apartment as he was drenched, his eyes wandered around as it smelled something nice coming from the kitchen. Dragging his tired and drenched body into the shower, he took off his wet clothes and dried up before throwing on a few sweats. He stood by the kitchen entrance and watched Nami as she cooked.
“T-..Tadaima..” He muttered, she scolded him earlier about not saying that when he got home so he started to practice.
Nami called it in for the day and left work early, visiting the nearest grocery store along the way. She bought a lot of vegetables and some fruits for dessert. Today, she was in a good mood maybe because she got a promotion at work. Which made her want to cook something for the idiot back at home. Not only that, it was their three month anniversary! Surely, that was a good enough reason to cook for him.
Once she arrived back at the apartment, she grabbed all of the resources she would need, including a recipe book.
“Hm, okay, let’s see….how to make curry….” She cut up the carrots, potatoes, and onions as she stirred the pot with on hand and held the book with another. She lifted her head, thinking she had heard the door open. “Zoro?” There was no answer, so she decided to go see for herself….but the vegetables started to burn, which made her stay by the pot.
Pouring some water and finally putting the curry into the mix of vegetables, she lowered the fire as she heard Zoro’s voice. “Oh, I knew you were back.” She turned around and saw that he was already settled into his comfortable clothes. “I applaud you for greeting me, but you could have done that before your shower, you know~” She was nagging again and realized that she had promised him as well to stop being so nitpicky.
She bit her lip, reminding herself to just let it go. “I mean, dinner’s ready…” She held the pot and brought it over to the already set table. “After dinner, you’re going to help me make a cake~” She was already determined to make him help her, whether he agreed to it or not. “You do know why, right?” She hummed a little tune, ready to forgive him for not saying the moment he walked in, if he remembered what day it was today. She watched him stop eating as he looked up at her. She waited for his answer. “So….?”

The green swordsman leaned his chin on his delicate palm, as he rolled his eyes. It felt really awkward having almost their whole building talk about how cute they were together even though Zoro wasn’t even sure how their relationship was. They were not dating, but they liked each other of course, and well they were living with each other! For the past two months, they had their sweet moments and their rare kisses but it seemed like neither would go on and take the big step, and declare their feelings for the other. As Nami started giggling, Zoro raised his eyebrow and gave her an odd look, why was she laughing? “What’s so funny?”
If there was a joke, he wanted to hear it! It’s not fair having only one person laugh while the other is dumbfounded. “Little something where?” Zoro papped his own face as he kept missing the sauce which was obviously on his nose. As Nami got closer, his arms rested by her waist as he embraced her slightly. Her thumb came toward his face and in a cute reflex, Zoro squinted his eyes like a child would do when their mother cleaned their face. “Sh-Shut up.. I didn’t notice it.”
Zoro looked away flustered of course, his arms still around her waist as his hands hung in the air, still scorched so he could actually grab a hold of her. The swordsman looked back at her, they were very close and he wondered if he should actually kiss her. Wait, maybe he could ask her about their actually relationship! It was something that he was really curious about, and in that moment he opened his mouth to declare how he felt.
BONKKK!!!
“T-Teme..” Zoro rubbed his head as he glared at Nami, she changed the subject so quickly! Though he blew the topic off, sitting down to eat the pasta she had just made for them both. “It’s alright.” He loved it. It was really good. Nami you’re a great cook. I just can’t say it. It’s weird to say it. Thoughts, that raced through his mind as he casually ate his food and looked at her. It seemed like she was hopeful, to hear something, so he swallowed the pasta and his damn pride. “W-Woah.. this tastes even better then Sanji’s pasta..” He wanted to kill himself, he felt so weird ‘acting’ but he did it pretty well. Acting was something Nami was good for, and the stupid marimo was too lazy to do such a thing. This time was an exception, because it helped him compliment her.. and well he got to see her smile.
As it struck nine, Zoro got the dishes and started cleaning them as quickly as he could since it was the time where he and Nami sat on the couch together and watched television. It wasn’t like he was excited for it or anything, but they had a similar taste in shows so he was delighted about that. Seeing the pie untouched, he wondered if Nami wanted any. Zoro saw her on the couch already flipping through channels, as he cut a huge slice of pie and dopped it with whipped cream. Sitting next to her, well very close to her, he offered her a bite of it. Well actually he was planning on feeding her and if she pointed it out, he was going to say he forgot he fed her and just did it without thinking. Looking off to the side, he twitched as he held the forkful of pie close to her mouth.
It felt weird having to feed her, since he never did it before. There were the casual times where she had fed him, mostly because he was injured or really really sick. They watched whatever she chose that night, as his shows were apparently re-runs therefore he didn’t care what they watched tonight. Throughout her show he randomly held another forkful of pie and well.. more then half of the pie was given to Nami then rather eaten by himself. It didn’t matter, as long as he could sleep he was alright. Arm swung over her as he leaned in closer to her, getting in position because well he did plan on sleeping. When Nami was too absorbed in a show he didn’t really get into, he tried his best to watch but usually ended up sleeping on her.
The tiredness struck as his cheek nuzzled against her shoulder and he started mumbling to her, “Oh really..?” His voice went from strong and intimidating Zoro to tired and soft-spoken Zoro. “Is that so..?” Zoro said as he replied to her commentary on the show, “No he didn’t.., That’s nice..” Sooner of later, he did end up falling asleep on her, breathing softly as his whole body relaxed. Well, it wasn’t his fault he did have a super tough day.
She waited nervously for his response as she leaned in a bit closer to Zoro, who was sitting across from her. Why was his answer so damn important to her? Tch, she shouldn’t really care what he thought. If he didn’t like it, then so what? He would have to deal with it since she probably would have shoved the whole bowl in his mouth anyways, whether he liked it or not. But she had to admit, it bothered her that he didn’t seem to like it as much as she hoped he would.
She opened her mouth, ready to tell him that he would have to eat all of it anyways, but before she could even let out a single word, he had already complimented her cooking and also saved his ass from being kicked. “R-Really? You think so?” She could feel her cheeks heating up. She knew he was just saying that since she could detect his terrible acting skills. Who was he kidding here? But the thought of him actually trying and being able to say something like that made her smile from ear to ear. She appreciated the fact that he would actually put his manliness on the line just for her. Thanks, Zoro… She had a huge smile on her face as she looked at him fill up his mouth with the pasta so that his cheeks were inflated on both sides. He had on a stubborn look, but it was also very cute, as always. She was very glad it was to his liking.
As they finished up, they both brought their dishes to the sink and she was reminded once again of the many good qualities of Zoro. He was washing the dishes! Most men were too lazy to do that. Especially since he had a long day at work, she was more than willing to do the clean up, but how could she pass up such a great opportunity to see the great Roronoa Zoro at his best; washing dishes in an apron. “That suits you~” She teased as she caught a good glimpse of his ass and looked away instantly when he gave her that glare for her comment. She wasn’t starting! Nope, not at all! Obviously she wasn’t. What else could explain the smirk on her lips?
While he was doing the dishes, Nami went to the couch and turned on the television, ready to catch up on her shows. Hmm, what to watch… Before she knew it, there he was, right next to her. “That was fast.” She couldn’t help but sound all excited since she was extremely glad he was right next to her already. But he did it in such a short amount of time. Did he clean them well? “You didn’t break anything, did you?” She teased, squinting her eyes at him in accusation before she started to laugh at his reaction.
She flipped through the channels with the remote until she was satisfied with one channel that was playing, Criminal Minds. She was so into the show that she barely noticed the fork in front of her. She absentmindedly opened her mouth and allowed Zoro to do the rest. As she chewed on the pie, her eyes glued to the television and not once looking away, she realized she was eating something?
“Eh..?” She looked at Zoro as he held up the fork again. “…..” Is he feeding me? Usually she would be the one to do such a thing and it was very rare too; only if he was sick. She could feel her body temperature rising as she shyly opened her mouth once more and glomped the fork. She wouldn’t question it since…it was something she could get used to. She could feel her insides causing a commotion as she tried to focus on her show once more. She kept watching, but couldn’t help but think of Zoro’s actions. She looked back at him and well….She leaned in closely and gave him a kiss on the cheek as some of the whip cream from her lips were smeared onto his face. She smiled shyly as she looked at what she left behind. “You’re getting a lot of things on your face today….clumsy…” She used that as an excuse and leaned in once more, planting her lips on his cheek again to remove the smudge she had left from her last kiss. Once she had done so, she quickly pulled back and paid her attention back to her show, trying not to look his way. If she did, she would die from embarrassment.

As one episode transitioned into the next, she barely noticed Zoro’s arm over her shoulder or even his head resting on her. “Wah! I totally knew it was him!” She heard his responses, but didn’t mind any attention to them since the plot to the show was getting more intense by the second. “What are they doing?!” As the show ended she turned off the machine and was ready to get up until she looked down and found the marimo sleeping on her shoulder, of course he was. “Oi~” She shook her arm, to wake him up, but it didn’t seem to have any effect. “Hey, you should sleep in your room.” She slowly and gently lifted his head off of her and got up, placing his head on the part of the couch where she had once been sitting on. She made sure to lift his legs and put them on the couch as well so that he would be comfortable.
As he continued to sleep, Nami quietly walked towards a nearby closet to grab a blanket and went back to cover the swordsman with it. She positioned herself so that she would be able to sit where his head once laid and picked up his head gently and placed it on her lap. She could be his pillow for the night since she wasn’t feeling all that tired, or so she thought. She turned on the television again and continued watching whatever was on and to her liking. Frequently, she would look down and grin at the faces Zoro was making during his sleep as he stirred and twisted this way and that. He looked a lot different when he was sleeping. But even in his sleep, he didn’t look relaxed at all, he was always so serious and that was what made her giggle; the serious look he had on his face. What an idiot.
Hours passed by; eleven turning to twelve and so on as she felt her eyes slowly starting to close. Her head started to bob back and forth as she tried to keep herself awake, but before she knew it, she was gone. Her head rested on the back of the sofa as nothing but the soft sounds of the television and Zoro’s light snoring filled the apartment as they both slept through the night. And before they would know it, it became morning.
Zoro seated himself on the couch and he looked at his hands, they were charred! Well to him they were charred, when he got burned it was always well.. not that bad. Probably because of how tough his hands have gotten for training so much. Nami told him to stay put,
“Don’t do anything stupid while I’m gone.”
Zoro twitched and of course retorted, “Shut up! I wont, I’m not that stupid.. tch.” He growled softly, but he watched her go to get some first-aid for him, of course his eyes wandered as he sort of stared at her curves. Instantly turning red he looked to the side, but of course being the little pervert he was. Zoro took quick glances and even tilted his head as he stared at her behind. Once she turned around he looked up to the ceiling and looking around as if he wasn’t doing anything hentai-like.
There she went, wrapping his hands up and he couldn’t help but flinch in pain, “O-Oi! That hurts Nami!” He whined, yet he was like a child even though he intimidated everyone in their apartment flat. “I don’t need to rest.” Zoro protested, but of course he actually would love to take a nap right about now, it would soothe everything. Though if he did take a nap, he felt like he is being babied by Nami and he totally did not want that. Was he being stubborn? Yes, he was but it was just how he was.
Though, the way she said it made him feel a bit more safer. It was odd did he even need to feel safe? It was comforting, he would actually enjoying hearing her talk like that more often. He looked at his hands, they were wrapped tight and Nami started to clean the sauce he already dropped. “Eh..” A sigh escaped his lips but instantly she riled him up as she threatened his manliness. “Eh? Weak? Who are you talking to teme..” Zoro got up and grabbed papertowels with his mouth, and in that instant he started wiping the floor clean. His forehead pressed against the floor, his mouth did all the work as his hands were scrunched up against his chest.
As he got up he had a smudge of sauce on his nose, but the floor was actually clean! “There! Don’t call me weak again.” Zoro glared until the bell rang, he got up and walked over to it opening the door with his forearms. An old lady stood there with a fresh baked pie, “H-Hello darling, it’s me again.. I baked you two some pie.” She placed the pie on Zoros hands, and Zoro instantly flinched with pain, as he nodded his head, “Th-Thanks.. M-Ms. Julie.” The old lady peeked in and waved at Nami, whispering, “Now you and your wife enjoy that pie alright.” Zoro twitched, “SHES NOT MY WI—!” And then she had left, but at least he got some pie.
He sort of got used to the fact that his hands were in pain and he placed the delicious pie on the table. “Here, from Ms. Julie.” Zoro rolled his eyes, “That lady is really infatuated with us.”
The swordsman wondered why she was giggling so much, but it obviously was because of the sauce left on his nose. Zoro still hadn’t noticed it yet and well, he sort of looked funny.
There it was. He was always so stubborn. “Sure you won’t. Whatever you say~” The way he got so riled up from her little comment made her smile happily. She swore this was probably the way he had acted when he was a kid. Didn’t change at all, did he? She would never know, but she was one hundred percent he was the same Zoro as the one from when he was little.
In the next few seconds, she had her back to him, reaching high up and her hand paving a way inside the cabinet, trying to find the first aid kit. It has to be here somewhere…. It was hard for her to notice, but her shirt raised up a little as she continued to reach for her target and it revealed a sneak peek of her skin and curves. Here it is!She went back down from her tip toes and turned to face the dummy, who thought it was a smart idea to just grab the pot with his bare hands. However, something was different. Why was he acting so suspicious? Not even looking her way? He did something stupid again! It had to be! “Oi! What did you do now?” She went to him and continued with the process of patching him up. Sometimes she wished Chopper was with them to properly do all of the doctor’s stuff, but it was also nice doing this for Zoro. It made her feel like she could do something for him in exchange for him helping her and saving her all those times. It gave her a way to show her appreciation.
“Quit being a baby,” she muttered, trying to get in the last bit of bandage around his hand. She tightened the bandage on purpose to make him feel the pain for resisting so much. “There, we’re all done.” She left him there, preparing a new pan of sauce for their dinner since well….this incident had happened and their dinner ended up on the floor.
Her smirk grew even more as she watched him get up from his seat and zip right past her. Seemed like her scheme worked like a charm, as always. He could be so predictable. And he called Sanji stupid, pffft. She stirred the sauce in the pan as Zoro did the cleaning…in his own unique way…. She felt a bit bad, but it was amusing, plus she knew he could handle it.
“Oh, done already?” She looked down at him as she continued to wait for the sauce to bubble. “Weak? You? Why, who would ever say that about the great Roronoa Zoro?!” Her voice was laced with sarcasm and shock as she pretended to look offended that someone would call her swordsman weak. Her acting was excellent…until he had gotten up. “P-Pffft…” She tried to resist any more laughter as she brought her hand to her mouth. “Ding dong!” Saved by the bell!
Nami heard the door opening and wondered who it was as she finished heating up the sauce and this time carefully pouring it on top of the noodles. “Oh! Ms. Julie! Hello!” She smiled back at the old lady as she watched Zoro fidgeting with the pie in his hands. Did he really forget that he had burned himself? Since the lady had whispered the last statement, Nami didn’t understand why Zoro was yelling at their neighbor. If she did, she would have reacted probably the same way and would completely understand why he did what he had done.
“Bye, Ms. Julie!” Nami called out before Zoro had closed the door. “Bye Nami! Bye, Zoro dear! Remember, this is an apartment, you two! Keep it down at night!” She yelled from the hallway as she had a huge giddy smile on her face and scurried away as fast as she could like any fangirl would.
Nami gripped the two bowls tightly, trying not to blow up from the old lady’s last comment. T-That oba-san…. She was trying to instigate so many things! They were always quiet at night! That lady was completely out of her mind! They didn’t do anything besides a hug and a few kisses here and there….Her face was completely red. “I-It would seem so….but it’s nice, isn’t it?” She placed the bowls on the table as she faced the swordsman.
Her embarrassment was completely gone when she remembered why she was giggling earlier. “P-Pffft…o-oi….you’ve got a little something there…..” She pointed to her nose as she watched him fail utterly and missed it. She came closer to him as she continued to giggle since he was doing a horrible job at locating where the sauce was. “Baaaaaaka~” She rubbed his nose with her uninjured thumb and wiped it on a towel. She would have done something else, just to see him squirm since he wasn’t the type to show that side of him so easily, but….she remembered that the sauce was from the ground. It would have been interesting thought, to see his reaction if she had licked the sauce right off of him.
Before things got awkward, she quickly bonked him on the head. “Anyways, dinner’s ready! And our neighbor was nice enough to drop by. We can even have dessert!” She went to her seat and waited for him to do so as well.
“Well….do you like it?” She watched him take a bite, hoping it was to his liking. It seemed she wanted his approval for her cooking more than usual. It was nice to know if he liked it or not. It made her feel…like she was doing her job. What her job was, she wasn’t so sure….. Their relationship wasn’t so clear, but she knew there was something there.

The aroma whirled around the food, as Zoro was enveloped with the fumes of delicious cooking. He never admitted it, but he thought Nami’s cooking was better than Sanji’s. Well in a sense of overall creation, Sanji destroyed Nami, but Zoro liked Nami and hated Sanji, and with that math, he rather eat Nami’s pasta then Sanji’s hotdog. (sexual inneudos)~~
Being so close to her, he heard the yelp but it was sort of faint. Zoro shifted his body so he could look into the kitchen, and he noticed her sucking on her thumb. Did she burn herself? He slowly got up and walked over to her, yes he felt guilty so he gently took her hand and looked at her thumb. “Did you burn it? I-Idiot.. stop being so clumsy..” Tsundere mode activated, as Zoro gently blew on her burn and then ran her thumb under cold water.
His cheeks turned a little pink, as he didn’t know why he got so protective of her. Usually he would call her stupid and then go to sleep, but after they started being well ‘together’ it was more helping then fighting. Though, the fighting seemed to not have gone down one bit.
“You’ve made pasta?” Now Zoro on the other hand, was an idiot when it came to the kitchen, as he tried to pour the sauce on for Nami. He grabbed the pan whole, without the handle and gently poured it on, now being so tough it took a while for the heat to burn him. “There it was so bad—” He dropped the pan and started grunting in pain, “WH-WHAT THE FUCK.” Hand stretching in pain, his other grabbed his wrist and he stomped around as he started to blow on it.
That was his big plan, to blow on it.
“I-It wasn’t my fault…!” She knew she should have been careful, but she couldn’t help but bark at him since it was because of him she had flinched. Of course, she wouldn’t tell him that, knowing he would try to fight back and defend himself. “And, I’m not clumsy….” She could feel the cool air he was blowing onto her burn and couldn’t help but look at him all dreamy-like. She mentally hit herself, returning the pissed off look she had on before to her face.
As he ran water over her injury, she twitched a bit at the pain. Finishing up, she glanced at him, noticing the shade of pink on his cheeks. Unknown to her, she too had rosy cheeks as she rubbed her thumb along her index finger to ease the burning sensation. “T-Thanks…” It was quite difficult for her to thank him since she hadn’t really done it before this whole “living with Zoro” thing. She wanted him to know she was grateful for his help, but at the same time she still felt like raising his debt right then and there.

“Yeah, I wanted to make it better than last time, which explains why it took a while-“ She fully looked up and saw what he was doing. She reached out her hand to him while yelling, “YOU IDIOT! IT’S STILL HOT!” Apparently, it wasn’t hot? She raised a brow, noticing how he showed no signs of being hurt. Was he really human? She watched the pan full of sauce falling onto the floor and the insides of the pan splattering all over the tiles. Usually she would yell at him for making such a mess, but she completely ignored what had happened and went straight to the idiot.
“Here.” She stopped him from stomping all around and took both of his hands cautiously and put them under the running water at their sink. “Does it feel better?” She analyzed his burns and to her relief it wasn’t all that bad. She turned off the faucet and went to go get a first aid kit. “Don’t do anything stupid while I’m gone.” Even though the first aid kit was in the kitchen cabinet and she wasn’t really “gone” from his sight, she knew he would do something reckless if she didn’t warn him.
She came back with a gauze bandage and took his hands once more, wrapping the gauze on each of his hands. “You’re the one that needs to stop being clumsy.” She could tell the burns would hurt a bit, but thank goodness Zoro was someone who could take the pain. “Now stop squirming. You’re acting like a little kid.” She sometimes did feel like she was taking care of one at times, but a cute one.
Finished with the wrapping, she sat him down at the table as she went back to the main counter in the kitchen. “I’ll have to make another batch of sauce, so it’ll take a while. How bout you go and rest?” She had a soft tone, knowing he had a hard day at work. But knowing him, he would probably oppose. Something to do with his manly pride or some crap she couldn’t understand sometimes. If he did, that would be fortunate for her even though she would feel guilty for putting him to work when all he wanted to do was help her.
She took a paper towel and was ready to clean up the red sauce on the floor until she smirked. She always loved playing with him. “Since you seem really weak to clean this up…Not saying that you’re weak or anything; no, of course not, not at all! But you probably had a long day at work….You should just leave this to me.”
“Are you done?” He had maintained his silence throughout the entire mess, following her silently through the empty streets until they stopped in another district of town - and into a clothing shop. He pulled back his arm and glared. He was wholly unimpressed and had half a mind to drag her back to the bar. Her explanation was ridiculous and almost insulting. The scrawny deadbeat that had come up to her was hardly worth his full attention - especially if even she could take him down.
“I-” She stared back at him, noticing the irritation in his voice. “Tch, yeah, I’m done.” She decided to be nice to him, but screw that if he was going to give her attitude. She dusted off her clothes, trying to get her mind off of him. “Well, since I was nice enough to bring you here, how bout we browse around…unless you feel like you need to go back and want to deal with them. But if I remember correctly, you said you didn’t want any trouble, right?”
